Former CU Buff Darrell Scott transfers to South Florida
Two of Colorado’s once promising skill players are leaving Boulder for home.
Darrell Scott, the nation’s top running back prospect in 2008, announced on his Facebook account that he will transfer to South Florida.
Markques Simas, a gifted but troubled wide receiver who had his scholarship revoked by Dan Hawkins on June 2, would like to transfer to San Diego State.
Scott’s former high school coach, Todd Therrien, told the Tampa Tribune he had not heard the news directly from Scott, but that running with the Bulls would be a natural fit for the ex-Buff.
